Exceed Designs is a small company based in Walla Walla, WA, USA (RIVITON LLC), focused on making tools that truly change the game for everyday carry. We design titanium EDC gear around one idea: products that last a lifetime and exceed your expectations.

For over 6 years we have worked to refine the utility-knife category, starting with the TiRant RAZOR V1, V2 and V3 and now the TiRant ULTRA with its patent-pending HotSwap™ system, alongside the AVAIR M390 folder, the RAMPANT flashlights, the Hyzer titanium hatchet and our leather and titanium lanyards.

Our Story

The TiRant RAZOR V3 utility knife is trusted by thousands of customers over the past 3+ years. It is built from skeletonized grade-5 titanium scales, with a quick release tuned for reduced blade slop, and rolls on ceramic brass-caged bearings with a truly removable lock-bar insert.

It was designed with infinite options and customizations, including a wide range of custom CNC scales that are CNC’d here in the US. That platform approach, hundreds of variations built on swappable parts, is what the brand has grown around, and it holds the record for the most customizable folding knife in the world.

As demand grew, the business moved from the founder’s living room to an industrially zoned shop in Walla Walla, WA.
